8.8 miles of Rim Trial ranging from 5365 to 6312 ft elevation

The venue and finish line is at the Pine Trailhead in the Tonto National Forest just off Highway 260 about a quarter mile south of Pine, Arizona (link for map location). Free parking and camping is available about a half mile south of the trailhead off of Hwy 260 (.1 mile north of mile marker 266).

Runners will be bused to the starting area near the Pine Canyon trail. The course goes south on the Pine Canyon Trail to the Pine View Trail then onto the Highline trial and finishing at the Pine Trailhead. Much of the trails have recently been re-routed and provide very runnable surfaces. The course length is 8.8 miles and features total climbing of 1255 feet but a net elevation change of -340 feet.
